Jean-Marie Fourrier於1990年接手Fourrier酒莊的時候年僅23歲，當年的她卻已經有著相當豐富的閱歷，這些經歷除了來自位在Gevrey Chambertin的酒莊以外，也曾經待過Vosne Romanee，更曾參與勃根地傳奇Henri Jayer 1988年這個經典年份的釀造，從此他便遵循Jayer的哲學，要釀造出最好的葡萄酒，一切始於葡萄園，對於葡萄園的照護無微不至，因此Fourrier保存了許多老藤葡萄園，酒莊位在Gevrey Chambertin的葡萄園大多種植於20世紀，所釀出的葡萄酒有著優雅且果香濃厚的特色，純淨度極佳。
